Commitment to local community with involving the local community the planning and
execution, the Bled Rowing events will contribute to the economic and social well-being
of the Bled area and surrounding communities.
Our initiatives will include:
Inclusion of local community
We believe in involving and valuing the people who live and work in the local areas. From inviting local businesses to participate as vendors to providing opportunities for community groups to showcase their talents, we aim to create an event that reflects the spirit and diversity of the neighborhoods we inhabit.
Inclusion of local students
It is proposed to include the students of the Higher Vocational School of Hospitality, Wellness and Tourism Bled. As part of their education, these students could complete internships in various areas of the championships, including catering, information centers and hospitality services. This initiative not only provides invaluable hands-on experience for the students, but also enriches the event with new perspectives and enthusiastic support, nurturing the next generation of hospitality professionals
Inclusion of local care center
We recognize the importance of giving back to the community that supports us, which is why we will be proud to partner with local charity - Training, Employment, and Care Center Radovljica - the center which caters to children, adolescents, and adults with developmental and physical disabilities. The members will make clay mascots as awards for rowers and other local souvenirs that will be presented and for sale in the grandstands area.
Complimentary admissions to promote the sport of rowing
To ignite enthusiasm for rowing and sports among children, complimentary admission to schools for watching the championships will be offered. This hopefully will be one more step to inspire the next generation of athletes and foster a love for sports from an early age.
Compenetray admissions will be also extended to disabled as well as all inhabitants of town Bled.
